New Rules and Laws Will Help with Hardship Loan Modification |

You can write a hardship letter to stop foreclosure. If you are having trouble making your payment, call your lender and see if they are willing to help you with a hardship loan modification. Banks don't need your home back, and with all the foreclosures on the market, writing a hardship letter to stop foreclosure could help you keep your home until you can get back on your feet financially. There is nothing more difficult than losing your home, and if the bank is willing to work with you, you could conceivably end up with payments that you can afford. Next week the new rules governing banks and mortgages will come into law, and many homeowners will be helped by these new policies that will reduce their payments. Real estate essentially sunk this economy (along with high energy costs), so stemming the growing tide of foreclosures is necessary to spur the recovery. And it can't start fast enough. It will be interesting to see how the economy improves once people can find ways to stay in their homes affordably once they get the hardship loan modification they so desperately need for their homes. |
